Proud winners of the 2012 British Association for Print & Communication Business of the Year Award, Kall Kwik Bury St Edmunds are celebrating 20 years of being in Bury St Edmunds and serving businesses throughout Suffolk with a full range of graphic design and printing services.
Their strap line, ‘creative printing, clever thinking’ sums up the company approach to designing and producing internal and external communication materials for a wide range of business clients.
For everything a business needs, the entire process from cards to sales/marketing materials, direct mail and exhibition graphics, Kall Kwik has developed expertise and experience.
A-Z of Services
A glance at the impressive catalogue of services supports the view that Kall Kwik are a company very much alive to the wide range of business demands in a changing environment:
A-frames, banners, corporate identity, digital books, encapsulating, fulfillment, graphic design, web hosting, image sourcing, logo design, marketing, newsletters, ordnance survey maps, pop-up stands, ring binders, scanning, variable data and window graphics, just as a sample.
They have plans to grow and develop their services still more in the near future, because nothing stands still and as clients grow, so they intend to as well. Plan printing capabilities have recently been upgraded and large format posters and banners can now be processed quickly and efficiently.
The Power of Winning
Nobody should underestimate the benefits that flow to a business from winning a prestigious accolade. The September announcement that Kall Kwik Bury St Edmunds had secured the BAPC Business of the Year recognition was a major boost to staff and customers and proof that the business model is working.
It was judged by an independent panel of experts from within the print industry and also took evidence from a mystery shopper.
Managing Director of parent Kall Kwik UK, Nigel Toplis praised local owner Stewart Green for proving himself ‘a serious business professional’ who not only offered first class service and products but also worked closely with customers ‘understanding their needs’.
This personal touch is a key ingredient to success in any business, but particularly in a customer-focus set up aiming for repeat business.

We asked what does MBF provide for them that they don’t keep in house? ‘They provide skills which we don’t need to maintain ourselves. Although we want to have control over what we do we don’t have to do this all in-house. We need to have strong and capable partners to help our business to continually grow’.
We wondered how has the relationship with MBF developed and changed? He told us: ‘Whenever we have had a query, which fortunately is very rare, the team at Mailbigfile have always responded quickly and helpfully and in a deadline driven environment this is very important to us.
How does he see Kall Kwik in 10 years time? We are told they ‘have plans to take on extra staff to strengthen the businesses capabilities and see us getting even stronger in our web design and e-mail marketing services. More of our campaigns are becoming cross-media and I am sure this will be a growing trend’.
Finally, we asked ‘How do you see the MBF services evolving in the future to meet Kall Kwik’s changing demands? ‘ Back came the great answer: ‘Not sure. I’ll have to read the MBF Blog more!!
