Neon Art Gives New Meaning to A Illuminating Idea

 

If you were going to start an obsessive collection, would you choose neon?

 

Might you think that there is enough static and flashing neon in the world already?

 

Well, London-based Chris Bracey is an expert with one of, if not THE biggest collections in the world. His 40 year-old hobby has progressed from advertising, sleazy, garish cityscapes, circuses, fairgrounds and amusement arcades to works of art often sought after by film makers, including Stanley Kubrick.

 

We might start a series on unusual pastimes – now that’s a bright idea.
